Resources for upgrading ColdFusion 6, 7 or 8 to 9

ColdFusion version 9 seems robust and cool from what it can perform as well as lot of security features are address in it, but interestingly not much resources are available for upgrade from ColdFusion v6 to v9. It seems like the underlying framework has changed significantly and that, the only option to upgrade from v6 is to upgrade to v8 and then to v9. I am not sure if I want to play around upgrading from v6 to v8 and then to v9, may be I will just install a clean v9 after uninstalling v6. The problem though will be a guessing game of which pages have broken down and which are fine. For upgrade related research, below are some of the links I looked into for details.
