Windows Live ID Auth OS - Buffalo NAS Network Drive through AD Domain

I have ran into it seems a unique situation which is not getting resolved no matter how many online help pages and guides I follow.

My issues seems to be unique that no one have encountered or posted a issue like mine.

My laptop is authenticated through Windows Live ID and it is not connected to my company domain. The drive I want to connect to is a Buffalo NAS system with DLNA enabled and the authentication is setup through my company AD which is a non fully qualified domain.

The NAS shows up in my list of network locations but that only shows "Music, Pictures and Videos" option and not the folders mapped on that drive for storage.

For now it seems I have to take a break from figuring this thing out, sometime in future I would have to resolve this issue.

Working hours in six months to a year

I usually try to look for how many hours I have worked on a given project and what hours that I  spend on learning or network management tasks.

Below I have added some hours calculation, after finding the breakdown by months from Berkeley website.

2017Working hours six months (Jan 1st - Jun 30th):
130 days x 8 hours =  1040 hours

Working hours six months (Jul 1st - Dec 31th):
130 days x 8 hours =  1040 hours

Working hours for the year:
1040 hours + 1040 hours = 2080 hours
